Laser Therapeutic Effects

Lasers stimulate healing at the cellular level. They do this by providing energy to cells through light waves. The wavelength of a class IV laser can penetrate deeply into tissue to change its biochemistry.
When cells lack energy they cannot begin to perform the healing process. In order for cells to heal, the mitochondria of the cell needs to produce a coenzyme called ATP, which transports energy.
